Golden Time
Following a successful primary school reunion a couple of years ago and the ongoing dialogue with many old cronies I have decided to put electronic pen to parchment to try and capture some of the memories that many of us had from our golden school days in the land of Trwyn. I am hoping that one of these will spark something internally and that it brings back a smile of a time that helped mould us into what we are today. Along the way I hope to pick up a few companions who will bring colour to some of my rambles and in particular am hoping that my Diffordesque like friend Professor Scott Gardner will be encouraged to finally document his detailed memories that have kept us entertained over a beer for many years.
No prescribed golden time in those days, just golden memories and gold milk tops. No PS2 or DS at playtime, just British Bulldogs and tennis ball footie. No Facebook or Twitter, just a rich tapestry of genuine banter.
Any opinions will be mine and I alone should be locked up if there are any inaccuracies or offence caused. It is a personal ramble as I attempt to join the dots on what was a memorable childhood.
I thank each one of you for being a unique part of my DNA and would encourage you to share any memories, thoughts or topics that we could explore.
